English test practice with an estimated score after every test

IELTS, PTE Academic, PTE Core, TOEFL iBT, the Duolingo English Test, CELPIP-General, and Cambridge C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency.

Each practice test follows the latest official format: the parts, the task types and the timing. Reading and listening are marked automatically; for writing and speaking you assess yourself against criteria written in plain words. The tests are original, written for this site, and are not official material.

After each test you get an estimated score on that test’s own scale, clearly labelled as an estimate, and the skills to practise next. The next test shows whether they improved.

English exams

How it helps you improve

  1. Take a full test: Timed and marked like the real exam.
  2. See your analysis: Your score by section and topic, and the topics that cost you the most.
  3. Practise those topics: Short sets, with an explanation after every question.
  4. Take the next test: It shows whether your practice worked.

What you get

Questions and answers

Is the estimated score the score I will get?

No. It is an estimate from your practice answers, to show progress. Only the official test gives an official score.

How are writing and speaking marked?

You record or write your answer and assess it against criteria written in plain words. Nothing is uploaded or marked by a machine.

Are the tests free?

Yes. The tests and the practice are free. A free account keeps your results, your weak topics and your plan.
